According to Danish public broadcaster DR, the government is expected to introduce a 50-billion-kroner ($7 billion) defense fund for 2025-2026. While officials initially considered doubling this amount, a shortage of available military equipment led to a lower figure.
One key area of investment is air defense technology, which Denmark currently lacks. The government has identified this as a critical need and is looking to secure necessary systems as quickly as possible.
