DOGE Investigation Shakes Up Social Security As Records Show Millions Of Impossible Ages

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, has uncovered shocking inconsistencies in Social Security records, with millions of beneficiaries listed as over 100 years old — including some recorded as 150. The revelation has thrown the agency into crisis, culminating in the resignation of Acting Commissioner Michelle King.

Musk, speaking at the White House alongside President Donald Trump, mocked the absurdity of the situation. “Unless we have a secret population of vampires, something is seriously wrong here,” he said.

A 2023 government audit confirmed that nearly 19 million individuals over 100 remained in Social Security’s database with no record of death. While officials insist that most of those accounts are inactive, DOGE is investigating whether fraudulent claims have been filed under those identities.

King resigned after reportedly refusing to grant DOGE access to the agency’s recipient records. The White House moved quickly to replace her, nominating financial executive Frank Bisignano for the role while appointing Leland Dudek as interim commissioner.

Social Security is not the only federal program under scrutiny. DOGE has also flagged nearly $5 trillion in untraceable Treasury transactions, adding to concerns about financial mismanagement across multiple agencies.

Musk has made it clear that these findings are just the beginning of a broader effort to overhaul government accountability. “We’re going to follow the money and fix what’s broken,” he said.
