Fundraiser For Trump Rally Shooting Victims Surpasses $265K

Following a tragic shooting at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, a GoFundMe authorized by President Donald Trump has raised over $265,000. The incident, which was an assassination attempt on Trump, resulted in one death and two critical injuries.

Donald Trump Jr. and Trump’s lawyer Alina Habba shared the fundraiser link, urging support for the victims and their families. The GoFundMe page explains that all donations will go directly to those affected by the horrific event.

During the rally, Trump was shot in the ear and quickly rushed offstage by Secret Service agents. In a Truth Social post, Trump described the incident and expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased. He emphasized his commitment to continue his campaign efforts, stating, “GOD BLESS AMERICA!”

The shooter was identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. The FBI is investigating the incident. Despite the attack, Trump remains defiant and plans to attend the Republican convention in Wisconsin. This location is historically significant, as it is near the site where President Teddy Roosevelt survived an assassination attempt in 1912. Trump’s resilience is drawing comparisons to Roosevelt’s famous determination.
