The failed assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump has left many puzzled, including U.S. Army Green Beret sniper Matthew Murphy. After closely examining the incident, Murphy shared his troubling insights with Sara Gonzales on BlazeTV.
Murphy expressed skepticism about the circumstances leading up to the incident. “Nothing about this makes sense,” he stated. He questioned how the shooter managed to get on the rooftop, noting the close proximity of 120 to 150 yards to Trump. Rally attendees were reportedly shouting and pointing at the shooter, yet the counter-sniper positioned to protect Trump did not act.
“There’s no doubt in my mind the sniper on the roof saw the shooter,” Murphy said. “At that distance, even without binoculars, it would be impossible not to see someone on a white roof.” Murphy, speaking from his experience, insisted he would have taken the shot.
Rumors intensified following an anonymous 4chan post claiming the counter-sniper was ordered to stand down. Murphy couldn’t confirm the post’s authenticity but acknowledged it as a plausible reason for the inaction.
Sara Gonzales shared Murphy’s suspicions, suggesting the situation might involve more than just incompetence. “There are so many coincidences that it rises past the level of incompetency,” she remarked, hinting at a potential sinister plot.
Murphy also highlighted the unusual bullet trajectory seen in the video. The bullet that narrowly missed Trump appeared to fly on a flat trajectory, inconsistent with a shot from an elevated position. Additionally, a woman seated behind Trump was seen ducking and then quickly pulling out her phone, raising further questions.
Murphy concluded by emphasizing that multiple experienced snipers share his doubts. “Everyone I’ve talked to sees the same thing. Something else happened,” he asserted.
When Gonzales asked if Murphy believed it could be an inside job or involve a second shooter, he responded, “It could potentially be an inside job.”
These revelations leave many questions unanswered, fueling speculation about the events of that day.
