Greenland’s Prime Minister Múte Egede has issued a strong call for independence, stating that the time has come for the Arctic territory to forge its own path. Egede’s remarks, delivered in a recent speech, emphasized that Greenland can no longer remain under Denmark’s control while striving for equality and self-governance.
Egede argued that Greenland’s relationship with Denmark is rooted in a colonial past that continues to hinder its progress. He stated that the arrangement has failed to create full equality and that Greenland must now take charge of its own future, particularly in trade and international relations.

We are not for sale and will never be for sale,” he stated in response to Trump’s remarks. Egede emphasized Greenland’s long struggle for independence and its determination to maintain sovereignty.

2-The US population would become 381,600,000 (still in 3rd)
