Elon Musk has claimed that some of the billionaires supporting Kamala Harris’ presidential run are doing so out of fear that Donald Trump will reveal the Epstein client list if he is re-elected in 2024. Musk made these comments during an interview with Tucker Carlson, where he suggested that the release of the list could have serious consequences for some of the wealthiest figures backing Harris.
“I think part of why Kamala is getting so much support is that if Trump wins, that Epstein client list is going to become public,” Musk told Carlson. He mentioned Reid Hoffman and Bill Gates as two examples of billionaires who, he believes, are particularly concerned about the potential exposure.
Carlson added that he could easily identify the anxiety in some of these figures, suggesting that their actions indicate a deeper concern about the potential release of the list. Musk argued that many of those involved have spent years lecturing Americans while hiding their connections to Epstein’s criminal activities.
While the Epstein client list has been sealed due to legal protections, particularly for victims and falsely accused individuals, Trump has promised to release the list if he wins in 2024. This pledge has heightened fears among those who may be connected to Epstein’s illegal activities.
Musk, who has openly endorsed Trump for the 2024 election, continues to back the former president and has made appearances at his campaign events. Trump’s commitment to revealing the Epstein client list remains one of his most controversial promises heading into the election.
