New Poll Shows Trump Narrowly Leading Harris In Crucial Pennsylvania Race

A recent Insider Advantage poll reveals that President Donald Trump holds a narrow lead over Vice President Kamala Harris in Pennsylvania, one of the most critical battleground states in the upcoming 2024 election. Surveying 800 likely voters from August 18 to 19, the poll shows Trump leading Harris by a slim margin of 47% to 46%, with a margin of error of ±3.5%.

The poll’s timing is significant, as it comes just before the Democratic National Convention (DNC) kicks off and as Trump’s campaign ramps up efforts in key swing states. Pennsylvania’s 19 electoral votes will be a major prize in the election, making the state a primary focus for both campaigns.

The Trump campaign is going on the offensive, with campaign officials emphasizing the failures of Harris’s policies over the past four years. “The Trump campaign is going full bore against the Kamala campaign and highlighting all the disastrous policies she implemented for the last four years,” a Trump official told Breitbart News.

The poll results arrive as Trump and his running mate Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) prepare for a series of events in Pennsylvania aimed at drawing a sharp contrast with Harris on economic and energy policy. Trump is scheduled to visit a factory in York, Pennsylvania, while Vance will tour a facility in Philadelphia, both focusing on issues like job creation and energy independence.

Pennsylvania, which Trump won in 2016 but lost in 2020, remains a key battleground in this election. The poll’s results indicate a highly competitive race that could swing either way as both campaigns intensify their efforts in the final stretch leading to November.
