Schiff And Swalwell Accused Of Leaking Classified Information In Russia Hoax

Reps. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Eric Swalwell (D-CA) are at the center of a Department of Justice Inspector General report accusing them of leaking classified materials to the media to bolster the Russia hoax narrative against President Donald Trump. The report alleges the FBI failed to act despite knowing about the leaks.

A whistleblower, described as a Democratic staffer, informed the FBI about the conduct of Schiff and Swalwell, identifying them as individuals who leaked sensitive information. The whistleblower claimed Schiff had a history of leaking classified data and that Swalwell aimed to shape public perception by releasing confidential details.

The report also names Michael Bahar, a senior Democratic staffer, as another suspected leaker who shared classified information with at least three journalists. These leaks, according to the Inspector General, were then used to advance the Russia collusion narrative in major media outlets.

Despite receiving clear evidence, the FBI declined to investigate further or file charges. The report reveals that over 40 congressional staffers from both parties had their communications reviewed, but no one was held accountable for the leaks.

The findings highlight a significant failure in addressing the misuse of classified materials. Critics argue the lack of action from the FBI reflects political bias, as Schiff and Swalwell remain unscathed despite their alleged involvement.

Republicans are now calling for further investigation into the handling of the leaks and questioning why the FBI ignored evidence of misconduct. This report adds fuel to the fire for those who believe Schiff and Swalwell abused their positions to smear Trump during his presidency.
