Swatting Spree Shakes Conservative Media In US

FBI Director Kash Patel is confronting a surge of swatting that’s zeroed in on conservative media stars this week. These prank calls dispatch police to homes with made-up emergencies, rattling nerves and raising stakes. Patel’s plan hinges on coordination with local forces to catch those pulling the strings.

The Daily Mail spotlighted Joe Pags’ close call on March 12, reporting, “Conservative radio host Joe ‘Pags’ Pagliarulo revealed video footage of a man outside his home with a rifle.” The radio host didn’t hesitate, reaching out to Patel to demand a deeper look into the incidents.

Chase Geiser’s week turned upside down with two swatting attempts. The Daily Mail stated, “Infowars host Chase Geiser posted video of police putting him in handcuffs after a person called 911 pretending to be the media personality.” The second strike came before 2 a.m. on March 14, doubling the disruption.

Patel keeps it broad but firm. The Post Millennial quoted him saying, “This isn’t about politics — weaponizing law enforcement against ANY American is not only morally reprehensible but also endangers lives, including those of our officers.” His March 14 call to action speaks to conservative fans who see their champions under attack.

The Gateway Pundit mapped the spread, noting, “Several conservative figures including Nick Sortor, Gunther Eagleman, and Shawn Farash have been swatted over the last couple of days.” Sortor’s family got dragged in when a swatter spun a tale about his dad, hinting at personal info being exploited.

Gunther Eagleman’s home became a false alarm site too. The Post Millennial wrote, “Gunther Eagleman said he was also the victim of a swatting attack,” linked to a “hostage situation” lie. The Gateway Pundit tacked on, “Catturd and Gunther’s brother Mike were also swatted this morning.”

Shawn Farash and “Catturd,” swatted for the fourth time, round out the recent victims. The Daily Mail cited an FBI official counting at least 10 swatting cases on March 13.
