Trump Signs Executive Order To Eliminate Anti-Christian Discrimination In Government

President Donald Trump has signed an executive order creating a federal task force dedicated to ending anti-Christian bias in government institutions. Attorney General Pam Bondi will lead the initiative, which was announced during the National Prayer Breakfast, a longstanding Washington tradition.

The task force has been directed to examine policies within the Department of Justice, the FBI, and the IRS that have unfairly targeted Christians. Trump specifically pointed to past administrations using federal agencies to silence religious Americans and vowed to put an end to these abuses.

Trump declared that the task force’s mission is to “immediately halt all forms of anti-Christian targeting and discrimination within the federal government.” He also emphasized that religious liberty is a core American value that must be protected in workplaces, schools, public institutions, and the military.

Alongside the task force, Trump announced the creation of a commission on religious liberty that will explore additional ways to protect Christian rights. The White House Faith Office, also launched as part of this initiative, will serve as a liaison between religious organizations and the federal government.

First Liberty Institute’s Kelly Shackelford welcomed the move, stating, “All Americans should be free to exercise their faith without government intrusion in school, in the military, in the workplace, and in the public square.” The initiative has been widely praised by conservatives who argue that Christian Americans have faced increasing hostility from government agencies.
