Trump Unveils Plan To Overhaul Higher Education And Remove Leftist Influence

President Donald Trump has announced a sweeping plan to reform America’s higher education system, promising to remove leftist ideologies from college campuses and restore academic accountability. The plan aims to reduce costs, promote free speech, and ensure students are better prepared for the workforce.

Central to Trump’s proposal is a major reform of the college accreditation system. He criticized the current accreditors for failing to maintain academic standards, arguing they have allowed universities to prioritize radical agendas over students’ needs. Trump vowed to replace these accreditors with organizations focused on ensuring value for students and taxpayers.

The plan includes eliminating bloated administrative roles and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) offices, which Trump described as Marxist initiatives that drive up costs. He also called for accelerated and affordable degree options to make higher education more accessible to Americans.

To ensure quality, Trump proposed requiring entrance and exit exams to measure learning outcomes. Colleges would also be required to enhance job placement services to guarantee students receive the skills needed to succeed in the job market.

Trump also addressed the issue of racial discrimination in universities, pledging to prosecute schools that continue to engage in unlawful equity-based practices. Institutions found guilty of such violations could face massive fines, with some funds redirected to victims of discrimination.

“Colleges have taken billions from taxpayers while promoting anti-American agendas,” Trump said. “We will return these institutions to their original mission of educating students and preparing them for success.”
