FreedomFest Debate Moderated By Massie Without Biden And Trump

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) will serve as a moderator for the upcoming presidential debate at FreedomFest in Las Vegas. Although invitations were extended, neither President Joe Biden nor former President Donald Trump have committed to attending. Confirmed participants include Chase Oliver of the Libertarian Party, Jill Stein of the Green Party, and Randall Terry of the Constitution Party.

Massie shared his anticipation on social media, stating, “I look forward to moderating the Free & Equal Presidential Debate @TheFreedomFest on July 12 from 5 PM to 7 PM PDT at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.” Christina Tobin, founder and chair of the Free & Equal Elections Foundation, will co-moderate the debate. Tobin also expressed her enthusiasm, describing it as “a dream come true to co-moderate… w/Congressional Powerhouse @MassieforKY.”

The event will use a cumulative debate format to ensure a balanced discussion on current issues. This approach aims to provide a fair platform for all candidates, allowing them to articulate their positions to the electorate. Additional invited candidates include Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Cornel West. The goal is to foster open dialogue and provide voters with a comprehensive view of their choices.

Attendees at FreedomFest can look forward to a lively debate with diverse viewpoints. Registration for day passes or full conference passes is available on the FreedomFest website. For those unable to attend in person, the debate will be livestreamed on Rumble.

This event underscores the significance of inclusive discussions in the electoral process.
