Two teachers at Northgate Crossing Elementary School in Spring, Texas, are under investigation for allegedly giving preschool students stickers believed to contain sleeping aids. The investigation began after a mother, Lisa Luviano, reported that her daughter brought home what she called a “sleeping sticker,” which the teacher had reportedly given her to help her nap.
Luviano’s investigation into the sticker led her to discover that it was similar to adult melatonin patches sold on Amazon. When she reported her findings to the school, she found that other children had also received the stickers. Another parent, Melissa Gilford, confirmed that her child received the same sticker, and mother Najala Abdullah raised concerns after noticing changes in her son’s behavior.

Why do they believe they can do whatever they want with other people’s children? They’ve lost their minds.

Parents expressed frustration over the school’s delay in notifying them about the situation. Two weeks after the alleged incident, the school finally issued a formal statement and placed the two teachers on administrative leave. Two paraprofessionals were also suspended as a precaution.
