RFK Jr. Blasts Democrats’ Failed Attempts To Discredit Him

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has joined forces with President Donald Trump, citing the Democratic Party’s failed efforts to discredit him as a turning point.

During an interview with Tucker Carlson, Kennedy discussed how Democratic operatives used “mafia tactics” by contacting distant acquaintances to find negative information. Despite their attempts, Kennedy believes their strategy only alienated voters and pushed him toward Trump. Polling revealed that Kennedy’s presence in the race was drawing more support from Trump’s base, which made the Democrats’ attacks both counterproductive and “not smart.”

Kennedy’s decision to back Trump stems from shared values, particularly regarding free speech, opposition to the Ukraine war, and protecting children’s welfare. He argued that the Democratic Party has strayed from these principles, prioritizing political power over what truly matters to Americans. This shift, coupled with their relentless attacks on him, ultimately led to his decision to partner with Trump.

Kennedy’s endorsement goes beyond rhetoric. He is actively involved in Trump’s campaign, focusing on policy development and transition planning. Kennedy’s role includes helping to shape the administration’s direction and ensuring it reflects the principles he stands for. He views his involvement as crucial for restoring freedoms and pushing back against government overreach.

In recounting the Democrats’ tactics, Kennedy described how they even contacted someone he met 40 years ago at an AA meeting in an effort to smear him. Kennedy stated that these actions reflect a broader problem within the party — a disconnect from its voters and a focus on personal attacks rather than policy. He believes these missteps will cost the Democrats support in the 2024 election.

Kennedy is now fully committed to helping Trump secure a second term. His shift signals a growing divide within the political landscape, one that may have lasting implications for the future of both major parties.
